Sacco Marketing Officer
We are a medium sized Deposit Taking Sacco based in Nakuru and seek to recruit a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Sacco Marketing Officer on a one (1) year renewable contract.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the CEO the individual will be responsible for driving the marketing and business development plans and initiatives by undertaking marketing activities leading to growth and retention of the society’s membership. Do market scans and develop new markets and achieve financial growth.
He / She will promote savings mobilization and update of SACCO products / services to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Sacco Marketing Plan.
- Market and cross-sell the SACCO products and services.
- To prepare members education and recruitment program annually.
- Grow the savings account and SACCO membership.
- To facilitate review and development of new SACCO products.
- To attend members education meetings within the society area of operation
- To submit report on new members recruitment on monthly basis to CEO.
- To be in charge of marketing officers based at the branch.
- To ensure that members details are properly captured in the system and that key procedures are followed when recruiting members.
- Plan, organizes and co-ordinates marketing activities for the society and ensure it is within the approved budgets.
- Market the society’s product through field visits, brochures and face to face talks with potential clients.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment preferably a fast growing Sacco.
- Knowledge of the operating environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Possession of a clean driving license will be an added advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of the society’s products and services.
- Must be above 35years.
- Creative and innovative.
